STEPPING OUT OF THE BOAT

SPECIAL NEWS UPDATE:

So here it goes, friends... After a couple years of being out of the business realm, I have made a decision to start a new venture with a new business.  It’s not that I don’t have enough to do already. The fact is that I just love being in the business world.  When I was a young, dreaming teenager my dream was to move to the city, work in the corporate world, wear a suit every day and live in a townhouse.  Well, you know how God can pull on your heart and urge you to follow Him in directions that seem completely opposite than what you first dreamed.  He put a passion in my heart to surrender completely to Him and become prepared for full time ministry.  Not more than about three years later, that vision began to come true.  I met my husband and was thrust into the ministry immediately.  With all of my heart, this has been my passion; not just working ‘for” God but working “with” God.  His desires have become my desires.  To watch the Father use me to work in the lives of people to awaken their spirits to God is the ultimate satisfaction.  There is no comparison.

Saying all this, as I began to search for more ways to help His people.  I love to guide people in finding the goodness of God.  I love helping people get free from past, limiting mindsets to find freedom in their minds.  After all, every battle we face begins in our thoughts.  And I love helping people find simple ways to keep their bodies strong in order to carry out their destiny on the earth.  This body is the only one we are given.

In my midlife years, I have had more inflammation in my body.  I began searching for new ways to help me find natural solutions instead of synthetic ones.  We all know exercise is an enormous part of keeping your body well, but feeding it good nutrition is vitally important.  I’ve gone through the health food store multiple times to try to figure out all the different choices needed to put in my diet.  If you’re like me, your life is probably too busy to decipher every kind of organic food, seed, greens, teas, etc.  My desire to learn and improve my health has grown because of my desire to maximize my remaining years on the earth.  But I need simple...very simple.  Don’t we all?

About 7 weeks ago a longtime friend of my family reached out to me by phone and asked me if I would consider looking at a company that has been around for 11 years but has stayed in the shadows for most of those years because of their focus primarily on their supernutrient and not necessarily on their “brand”.  I was very familiar with this company because I watched its roots begin starting in 2003 while many meetings were held in my parent’s family restaurant.  Of course, a lot of things that begin in your hometown are often overlooked because it becomes so familiar.  Isn’t there something in the bible about “a prophet is not without honor except in his own town”… or something like that? Lol.  Well, all we knew around Lamar was that this new “supernutrient” looked green and didn’t taste very good.  Sadly, I never even tried it all those years ago.

Needless to say, I was very reluctant at first to think about another business, but I was inquisitive about the product.  There had been so many testimonies of results from improvements with allergies, arthritis, diabetes, IBS, high blood pressure, cholesterol and even cancer from a handful of people I had known.  So I decided to meet with my friend to taste the products and hear what she had to say.  To say I was blown away was an understatement.  For 5 more weeks I quizzed her relentlessly about the validity of the history of the company founder, the product and the business.  The more I learned, the more I just wanted the products in my body.  She sent me home with samples early on, and I began to see short term results immediately.  The more I tried the more I couldn’t stand to be without it.  I went home and devoured the 3rd-party scientific studies and research from pubmed.gov, a public government website with submissions from doctors and scientists about medical and natural research.  Of course, I read all the documents supplied by the company’s own scientists, but the public documents locked in my belief, especially for the reason I was looking for in the beginning.  One of the biggest results from consuming this supernutrient was the decrease in inflammation.  For years I’ve know that inflammation is one of the largest contributors to degenerative diseases. According to an article on pubmed.gov, “Chronic inflammation is associated with a broad spectrum of neurodegenerative diseases of aging. Included are such disorders as Alzheimer's disease (AD), Parkinson's disease (PD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, the Parkinson-dementia complex of Guam, all of the tauopathies, and age-related macular degeneration.” (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15681803)

In summary, I had been gaining a desire to be back in the direct sales market again after my youngest son left the nest.  I truly love small business and the spirit of entrepreneurship. Growing trends in the 21st century are proving that direct sales are proving to be a legitimate source of income.  New statistics show that with over 60 million sales consultants worldwide contribute to over $114 billion in sales, playing a large role in the economic sector. (For the complete article, see www.directsalesaid.com/industry-statistics). I’ve spent hours upon hours studying marketing, small business ownership, management, leadership, and more in order for me to truly know if it was for me. After all I have read, I continue to come back to direct sales.  It is a wonderful way to bring extra revenue into your family, and it is also a possible way to have an entire income if you work hard enough.  You just have to be able to know how God is leading your paths, believe in what you are promoting and love helping people.  In the end, that’s what really matters, right?

This summer I began asking God if there was a product I could really love and be passionate about, I would promote it.  When my friend contacted me about the company she had so fondly represented for 11 years, it began the merge between my search for something to help with inflammation and natural health and my desire to be back in business again.  So now I’m coming “out of the closet”!  This supernutrient is called Fucoidan, proprietarily extracted from the Limu Moui seaweed plant by a company who had the originally patented extraction process in liquid form to pass the cell membrane.  And this company is called LIMU.
